Recipes I want to make this month.

Okay, so a moment of transparency; I haven’t been cooking as much as I usually do and I miss it! With that being said, I found some new recipes that got me excited about picking up my spatula and getting back in the kitchen again and I hoping that sharing these will spark a little late summer cooking with all of you.

I’m planning to make these recipes throughout the month of September and I would love you all to share them with me if you try them too. Some of you sent me your favourites via DM and I’ve included a few of those in this list too! I’m excited to get back into it.

I promise to try and share some of these step by step over on my Instagram Stories but sometimes I get so caught up in the moment that I just totally forget until I’m washing the dishes after dinner!

italian sandwich

Toasted Italian Sandwich

We don’t usually have sandwiches for dinner but I don’t know why!? That’s going to change this month thanks to Vicky from Mess For Less. This toasted goodness is packed with pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella and delicious Italian meats. I would likely pair this with a really good soup or salad to make a complete meal. Oh, or maybe sweet potato fries!

orange chicken

Baked Skinny Orange Chicken

I’m not exaggerating when I say this baked skinny orange chicken recipe from That’s Delicious! is TO DIE FOR. I made this a couple months ago and it’s the perfect combination of sweet, crunchy, and tangy without being at all greasy. My mouth waters thinking about having this again.. I just might have to make it tonight!

greek chicken

Greek Lemon Oven Roasted Chicken Thighs

If you know me then you know the key to my heart is feeding me a dish with loads of kalamata olives and feta cheese! Greek flavours are my favourite and any opportunity to cook or eat something with Greek flare is right up my alley! Kathy over at Lemon Blossoms has me drooling at my desk right now!

Of course, I’ll be making more than three meals for this month but these are some new ones I’m certainly going to try out!

What are you making for dinner tonight?
